Job Description
The essential functions of this position are to provide secretarial, administrative, and clerical support for the IV-D Child Support Hearing Officer. This position is responsible for assisting the Hearing Officer with the Court calendar of hearings, as well as the preparation and distribution of documents and other materials for child support enforcement hearings, screening telephone calls and visitors to the department, preparing documents and correspondence for the supervisor, preparing travel vouchers and gathering and preparing special reports for the area of responsibility, and must maintain a good working relationship with the Judges and their Judicial Assistants, with the Clerk of Court personnel, attorneys and the general public
Education and Training Guidelines
Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
Competencies
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
Special Comments
Successful candidate will be hired at the minimum salary.
This position is expected to become full time.
